RBT

The registered behavior technician is responsible for prompting safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors to build communication and social skills, while also increasing the frequency of appropriate behaviors through reinforcement. They must follow behavioral plans, provide crisis intervention when necessary, and accurately collect daily behavioral and target data.

Candidates must possess strong skills in communication, behavior management, flexibility, collaboration, and creative problem-Solving, along with the ability to respond quickly and safely to emergencies. A registered behavior technician (Rbt) certification is required, which involves completing a 40-Hour online training, passing a competency assessment, and taking the rbt exam.
