  • Summary Responsible for the development and delivery of training programs for Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
  • Educates healthcare staff, including clinicians and administrative personnel, on the effective use of EMR software to ensure accurate documentation, data entry, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Creates training materials, conducts hands-on training sessions, provides ongoing support, and assesses training effectiveness.
  • Enhances user proficiency, improves patient care through effective EMR utilization, and facilitates the successful adoption of technology within the organization.
  • Job Duties Design and deliver onboarding education for new hires: ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with organizational standards.
  • Evaluate lessons learned across programs and implement process improvements to enhance educational effectiveness.
  • Create and update EMR education resources, such as tip sheets, videos, and presentations, ensuring accuracy under guidance from senior staff.
  • Support the maintenance of the EMR training environment, including preparing updates, performing basic troubleshooting, and reporting issues to the manager.
  • Lead workflow analysis and review feasibility of educational components for large-scale projects; provide recommendations to optimize training phases.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for Curriculum Review Board (CRB) meetings, such as scheduling, preparing materials, and documenting decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or related field or Master’s Degree Computer Science or related field 10 years instructional designer, credentialed trainer, educator, or related work experience Physical Demands Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
