The medical assistant performs various patient care and follow-Up tasks under the nurse manager, including preparing patients, taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting providers during exams and procedures. Responsibilities also involve maintaining supplies, cleaning instruments, processing patient messages, and performing specific tests like ekgs and vision tests.

Candidates must possess current certification as a medical assistant and a current phlebotomy certificate, along with at least one year of clinical work experience and current bls certification. Essential requirements include strong communication skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision, flexibility to float to other locations, and the capacity to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50lbs.
