Lifeguard / Swim Instructor

The lifeguard/Swim instructor ensures patron safety by maintaining constant surveillance, enforcing pool rules, and responding immediately to emergencies by providing necessary care until medical services arrive. This role also involves teaching swim lessons, developing lesson plans, and performing general maintenance duties to keep the facility clean and safe.

Applicants must be a minimum of 15 years old and possess or be currently enrolled in an american red cross lifeguard certification program to be completed before employment begins. Desirable qualifications include prior experience working or volunteering with children, and employment is contingent upon providing proof of a negative tuberculosis screening within the last two years.
