3pm to 11pm Full Time Direct Care Staff (17-21 Year Old Group Home)

The youth care advocate ensures clients receive professional, safe care by applying ymca, dcf, and deec policies while acting as a positive role model and counselor for the youth. Responsibilities include monitoring clients during all activities, supervising meals and chores, conducting thorough intake/Discharge procedures, and maintaining detailed documentation.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a high school education or equivalent, along with basic computer knowledge necessary for required documentation. Candidates must be able to read and write cohesively for incident reporting and attend all required trainings, potentially obtaining map certification within six months.
