IDD Behavior Specialist

The specialist monitors, implements, and documents behavior programs and support systems while working closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to improve efficiency and standardize procedures for home care staff. Additional duties include assisting with scheduling assessments, developing non-Restrictive behavior support plans, completing functional analysis, and providing training to staff.

A high school diploma or ged is required, with one year of experience working with the served population preferred, and graduate degrees in related areas are preferred. Candidates must meet physical requirements including lifting up to 40 lbs and demonstrating proficiency in cpr from the floor level, possess a valid driver's license, and pass a background check and drug screen.
