Part Time Sonography Specialist I - OB/GYN Center at Cullowhee, NC

The sonography specialist i performs technical imaging procedures, including level 2 targeted anatomy and 3-D gynecologic ultrasounds, assuming responsibility for all procedures performed in a dedicated women’s health facility. Responsibilities also include preparing exam rooms, reviewing patient history, communicating initial findings, assisting with invasive procedures, and providing educational support to rotating learners.

Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma and graduation from an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program, along with passing the obgyn registry and one year of clinical ultrasound experience concentrated in women’s health. Required licenses include active ardms or arrt/Rdms registration.
