Assistant Professor, PMHNP - MCHS

The faculty member will be responsible for preparing and delivering instruction across didactic, lab, simulation, and clinical settings, while setting high academic standards for students. This role also involves evaluating student mastery, providing timely feedback, and participating in school committees and professional development.

A master’s degree in nursing is required, though a doctorate is preferred, along with a minimum of three years of clinical experience providing direct patient care. A valid and current iowa nursing license is mandatory, and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (Pmhnp) certification is ideal.
