Lactation RN Mother/Baby

The role involves acting as a clinical and educational resource within the area of specialization, supporting patient and family needs across diverse age groups in the mother baby unit. Essential functions include identifying educational needs, developing and coordinating programs, serving as a specialty resource, and coordinating lactation champions and classes.

Candidates must possess a current iowa rn license and hold either clc or ibclc certification. Required certifications include completion of mandatory reporter training within three months, bls within six weeks, and nrp within six weeks of hire, alongside demonstrated competency in breastfeeding techniques.
