Summer Day Camp Counselor-Coal Creek YMCA (Full-Time)

Counselors will co-Lead groups of 10-15 youth in diverse activities such as games, crafts, stem, and cooking projects, while overseeing their health and safety to ensure a positive experience for every camper. Responsibilities also include implementing program activities, adhering to ymca policies, professionally engaging with parents, and ensuring equipment is clean and properly stored.

Applicants must be 16 years or older and have 0-1 years of experience with children, such as in camps, childcare, tutoring, or nannying, along with experience planning and implementing group activities. Candidates must also be able to model y values, complete required training like cpr/First aid, and pass a portable background check.
