Nursing Assistant - Per Diem (Summer Extern)

Nurse externs will train and work as nursing assistants, providing appropriate patient care to assigned patients and promoting a positive patient experience. They will collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team, documenting in the emr system, and reporting any patient needs or status changes they observe.

Applicants must be a 3rd or 4th year nursing student enrolled in a bsn program and must have completed nursing fundamentals and possess basic life support (Bls) certification from the american heart association. Candidates are also required to upload a cover letter detailing their motivation for nursing, post-Education goals, and interest in the program.
