Special Education Teacher

The special education teacher designs, develops, documents, and delivers individualized instruction tailored to students with diverse learning needs, while also coordinating therapeutic special education services that align with organizational values. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, managing classrooms, documenting student progress, and case managing ieps and itps for assigned students.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and hold or be eligible for a california education specialist instruction credential for mild/Moderate disabilities, along with a valid california driver's license and necessary background clearances. A master's degree in a related field and prior teaching experience with adolescents are preferred.
