About Company
New Haven Youth & Family Services is a nonprofit organization seeking dedicated individuals to support our Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) programs. This role provides community-based, in-home behavioral services to at-risk youth and their families.
Serve clients throughout Temecula, Hemet, Lake Elsinore - Mileage Reimbursement
This is an excellent part-time for MFT and MSW interns seeking clinical hours, as well as professionals with therapeutic backgrounds who have flexible availability.
Gain hands-on experience while making a meaningful impact in the lives of youth and families.
Full-time positions with benefits are also available.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized behavioral interventions in home and community settings
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and treatment teams to support youth success
- Address behaviors that impact family / prevent hospitalization
- Available to work early afternoons and early evenings - service hours: 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Attend team meetings Fridays in Temecula Friday: 12:00 to 2:00 PM
- Write agency required documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in a related field is required. Masters Degree is a plus.
- One year of experience working with children with serious emotional or behavioral challenges (preferred, but not required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adhere to agency documentation and attendance standards
- Ability to counsel children and their families
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
- Clear criminal background check
- Willingness to travel to clients’ homes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and electronic documentation systems
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
