Developmental Specialists will function as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver evaluations, assessments, planning, and ongoing services in collaboration with the child's family and community representatives. They will act as the Team Lead or Joint Visitor in one-on-one sessions, supporting children under five in natural environments.
Essential Therapy Solutions started in 2007 in response to the overwhelming number of families in our Arizona community requiring services. We obtained school contracts as well as becoming a Qualified Vendor with the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). We also contracted with other agencies holding Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP) contracts to deliver services to the birth to 3 population.

Early Intervention Educators will work as part of a comprehensive multidisciplinary team in order to provide evaluations, assessments, planning, and ongoing services in collaborations with the child's family and other community representatives
Demonstrate knowledge in Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP) and the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) policies and Professionalism, Child Development, Family Professional Partnerships, Teaming, Assessment and Evaluation, Planning and Intervention
Early Intervention Educators act as the Team Lead (Primary Coach) for a family or support other disciplines as a Joint Visitor in one-on-one sessions
Early Intervention Educators are part of the Early Intervention team consisting of Service Coordinators, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Psychologists, Vision and Hearing Teachers
Supports and services are conducted in a natural environment (typically home, daycare, park, etc.) in context of the family's typical routines and activities so that information is meaningful and directly relevant to supporting the child
Flexible schedule, you and your teams make the schedule! Please be willing to work the occasional evenings or weekends, as needed for service provision to families.
Services may be provided with a hybrid approach using teleintervention (Zoom) should the family prefer.

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in fields like Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or Child Development is required, with a Master's degree being a plus. Candidates must possess at least six months of experience working with children under five and hold a valid Driver's License and eligibility for Class One Fingerprint Clearance.
