Substitute Teacher

The substitute teacher assumes the full role of the regular teacher in their absence, implementing daily lesson plans and schedules while supporting classroom staff. Responsibilities include organizing learning centers, maintaining positive behavior management, recruiting volunteers, and ensuring classroom cleanliness.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or ged and at least one year of experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting. Preferred qualifications are a child development associate (Cda) certificate or an associate degree in early childhood education, along with a current driver’s license and insured automobile access.
