Substance abuse instructor/Counselor

The role involves assisting in the development, organization, and delivery of educational programs concerning drug and alcohol abuse conditions and problems. Primary duties include facilitating both individual and group counseling sessions and didactic educational presentations.

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited college or university with a minimum bachelor of arts degree, preferably in human services or holding a certified associate addiction professional licensure. Preference is given to experience within a correctional setting, along with working knowledge of the twelve step programs.
