Swim Instructor (Evening Shift)

The swim instructor will provide direct leadership, prepared instruction, and motivation for students in swimming classes, teaching beginning to advanced swimming and safety skills according to age and class level. Key duties include preparing lesson plans, safely instructing skills according to ymca guidelines, completing necessary reports, and assisting with record keeping and parent communication.

Candidates must be at least 15 years old and ideally possess six months or more of related experience, especially working with youth and diverse populations. Applicants must be able to demonstrate basic swimming skills, pass background and reference checks, and complete required child abuse prevention training.
