Direct Care Staff PM - St. PJ's Children's Home

The direct care staff is responsible for the daily care and supervision of children in the emergency shelter, ensuring their health, safety, and well-Being by maintaining a nurturing, therapeutic, and safe environment. This includes providing for physical needs, counseling, teaching, guiding children, and interacting positively with parents, caseworkers, and other team members.

Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, being 21 years of age or older, and possessing reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and insurance. Candidates should ideally have at least one year of preferred child care experience and must pass various background checks and screenings.
