Hebrew Teacher

Lander~Grinspoon Academy, a K-6 Jewish Day school in Northampton, MA, is hiring a dynamic and creative full-time Hebrew teacher.

What you will do You will teach Hebrew classes to students in grades 2-6 every day. Each class is 45-60 minutes, conducted all in Hebrew. In addition you will Partner with families in regular communication Nurture a joyful sense of Jewish identity within each student Teach about Jewish holidays at appropriate times of year Commit to implementing our social/emotional curriculum as well as our strong academic program

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about contributing to school-wide initiatives including social justice, our on-site working farm, and creative arts. In addition, you Hold a Bachelor's degree Are fluent in Hebrew and able to teach entirely in the target language Have strong Judaic content knowledge and are able to teach about Jewish holidays in Hebrew Have experience teaching elementary grade students Work well as part of team Are familiar with Talam (preferred)
