Core responsibilities
The teacher will plan, implement, and supervise the program for the class according to the center's philosophy and curriculum, ensuring the classroom remains compliant with all new york state regulations. Responsibilities also include gearing the program to individual children's needs and communicating daily activities and concerns with parents.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess an associate degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related field, or an infant/Toddler child development associate credential. A minimum of one year of teaching or assistant experience in an infant or toddler classroom is required, along with demonstrated knowledge of nys child care regulations.
