Summer Nurse Extern 2026 - York Hospital

Provides direct care to patients by performing a variety of duties, including assisting with data collection, provision of care, completion of selected therapeutic interventions, and documentation of care provided for a specified group of patients. The externship includes an 8-Week experience in one unit with shadow opportunities in other units as available.

Candidates must maintain good standing status in an accredited nursing program and have completed the medical surgical rotation prior to the start of the externship. A resume, transcript, and a letter of recommendation from a current nursing instructor are required for application.
