Core responsibilities

The special education teacher will plan and deliver individualized instruction aligned with each student’s individual education plan (Iep) and develop lesson plans that foster growth across various domains. They will also supervise classroom staff and collaborate with families and specialists to coordinate services.

Requirements summary

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in special education and a pennsylvania special education certification. Experience working with children with developmental disabilities is also required.
