The afternoon athletic trainer provides sports-Related injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services, acting as the primary resource for initial on-Site assessment and immediate care for student athletes' injuries or illnesses. This role involves developing injury prevention programs, coordinating care plans with various stakeholders, and maintaining accurate injury records.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess national athletic trainers association board certification and massachusetts licensure in good standing, along with cpr/Aed for the professional rescuer certification. A bachelor's degree in a related field and experience as an athletic trainer, preferably with middle school students, are required.
