Middle School Counselor

The counselor collaborates with academic leadership to meet with students individually or in groups to address social, emotional, and academic concerns, developing strategies for student adjustment and achievement. Primary duties include meeting with students, teachers, and parents, assisting with academic support plans, providing referrals for external resources, and consulting with faculty on student management and well-Being strategies.

Candidates must possess a master of social work or master of education in counseling degree, along with a valid texas social work or counseling license; texas school counselor certification is preferred. Required qualifications also include high-Level technology competence, strong references, and successful completion of background checks and safety training upon hiring.
