Head Start Child and Family Development Specialist

This specialist supports the evaluation and enrollment of children into services, considering individual needs including behavioral and special services. The role involves conducting observations, providing resources and guidance to families, and supporting children's transition into preschool by identifying success-Promoting services.

Candidates must possess an associate’s degree in early childhood education, special education, psychology, or a highly related field, along with two years of experience working with young children aged three to five in relevant settings. Knowledge of social-Emotional development and community resources is essential, as is having a valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
