The special education teacher will provide scholars with learning activities designed to foster intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. This includes developing or modifying curricula and preparing instructional materials tailored to scholar ability levels while working in assigned capacities.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited university and hold a valid texas special education teaching certificate with required endorsements. A minimum of one year of sped student teaching experience is required, along with knowledge of the ard committee and iep goal-Setting processes.
