What You’ll Do Deliver Math or Science instruction to middle and high school students in a self-contained classroom Develop and implement curriculum aligned to student IEPs and learning goals Support students with emotional and behavioral needs in a structured environment Collaborate with teaching assistants and therapeutic staff to support student success Maintain a consistent classroom structure and learning routine Participate in a year-round academic model, including summer programming Provide classroom coverage as needed using prepared lesson plans

Experience You’ll Need Moderate Disabilities 5–12 licensure (or equivalent Special Education certification) Experience teaching middle or high school students Ability to teach either Math or Science curriculum (subject-specific role) Experience working with students with emotional or behavioral needs Comfortable in a self-contained classroom setting Experience developing and delivering structured lesson plans aligned to IEPs
