Special Education Teachers

Special education teachers will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing individualized education programs (Ieps) while providing specialized instruction aligned with student goals and state standards. They must collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and school staff, and monitor student progress using data-Driven practices.

Candidates must possess a valid maine special education teaching certification or be eligible for one, along with a bachelor's or master's degree in special education. Prior experience working with students with diverse learning needs is preferred, alongside strong communication and collaboration skills.
