Core responsibilities
The therapist will provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, including conducting sibling and family support groups. Responsibilities also include collaborating with other clinical staff, mentoring students, delivering outpatient mental health services, and conducting relevant training sessions.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related counseling field, along with active licensure as an lcsw, lpc, or lmft, or be actively working toward independent licensure. Experience implementing behavioral/Cognitive-Behavioral interventions and understanding asd's impact on families is required, with prior work with children/Adolescents with autism strongly preferred.
