Direct Support Professionals- Thackston

Direct support professionals will chart daily progress notes, ensure daily care for clients, assist with prescribed medication, and participate in community activities and doctor's appointments. They must also be prepared to act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and being at least 21 years of age, with the ability to read and write in english and a valid south carolina license if applicable. Candidates must be able to regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally lift 50-100 lbs (Assisted), with one year of experience supporting people with special needs being preferred.
