Direct Support Professionals-Torch

Direct support professionals will chart daily progress notes during each shift, ensure daily care for clients, assist with prescribed medication, and participate in community-Focused activities and doctor's appointments. They must also act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency while providing a caring and respectful environment.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and being at least 21 years of age, along with the ability to read and write in english and possessing a valid south carolina license if applicable. Candidates must be able to regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally lift or move 50-100 lbs (Assisted), with one year of experience supporting people with special needs being preferred.
