Core responsibilities
The peer mentor provides individual and group support for clients with substance use disorders, helping them develop and sustain their recovery. They also facilitate educational sessions and assist clients in creating their recovery plans.
Requirements summary
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid nys driver’s license and certified peer recovery advocate certification. Experience in running peer support groups and lived experience is preferred.
