Employment specialist - Opwdd

This role involves providing direct vocational services, including pre-Vocational services and supported employment, to individuals enrolled in waiver services based on their individual service plans. Essential duties include coaching staff, developing employment plans, providing necessary training and support, and assisting individuals with job development and integration into the community.

Candidates need a bachelor's degree plus one year of experience in rehabilitation placement or related field, along with enrollment in an approved specialized course, or equivalent education/Experience judged by acces-Vp. Required credentials include a valid ny state driver license and access to a reliable vehicle, alongside strong communication, organizational, and independent decision-Making skills.
