SCDC Educational Aide

The primary role involves fostering healthy child development by supervising and coordinating daily classroom activities while ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment. This includes providing direct supervision, facilitating educational activities, interacting with children individually and in groups, and assisting with observation and documentation.

Candidates must have a minimum of a high school education or equivalent and be at least 19 years old, along with a minimum of six months of relevant experience. Essential requirements include knowledge of developmental stages, effective discipline management, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain professionalism and follow agency policies.
