They must also maintain naeyc accreditation standards, manage classroom assistants, and communicate progress and concerns effectively with parents.

Candidates must meet specific state licensing requirements which involve a combination of a bachelor's degree or college credits, specific early childhood coursework, required infant/Toddler training hours, and significant full-Time experience working with children under 36 months in a licensed group care setting.
