Preschool Teacher, Seagull Schools (Ko Olina)

Teachers are responsible for creating a safe, nurturing environment, designing and implementing age-Appropriate, play-Based curricula, and fostering physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth in children. Key duties include managing the classroom positively, assessing child development, communicating with parents, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and providing feedback to assistant staff.

Candidates must meet state childcare licensing requirements, which include specific educational paths such as a ba in ece/Child development or an as degree with an ece credential, combined with required experience ranging from six months to one year depending on the degree. All applicants must also meet medical, tb clearance, criminal history requirements, and possess current cpr/First aid certification.
