Inclusion Assistant

The inclusion assistant works directly with children diagnosed with moderate to severe disabilities in the classroom to implement the goals and objectives of their individualized education plan (Iep). This role involves assisting the teacher and inclusion services specialist in providing full inclusion into a regular preschool classroom setting.

A high school diploma or ged is required, with preference given to head start volunteer experience or previous work with children with disabilities. Candidates must maintain a valid california driver's license, pass various background checks, obtain mandated reporter certification, and meet specific immunization requirements.
