Teacher Assistant I (Fresno)

The teacher assistant i assists the teacher in implementing educational curriculum goals, classroom activities, and parent engagement according to head start standards, while ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children. This role involves direct support in daily classroom routines, documentation, and assisting children with individual goals, including those with disabilities.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged along with twelve (12) units in child development/Early childhood education, and must obtain a california associate’s teacher permit within 90 days. Preferred experience includes twelve months working with preschool-Age children, and maintaining continuous college enrollment toward an associate’s degree in cd/Ece is required.
