Teacher I (Floater/ Franklin CSPP)

The teacher is responsible for the educational development of each child, facilitating growth in social, emotional, cognitive development, and cultural awareness through ongoing assessment and individualized program planning in line with head start standards. This role also involves supervising teacher assistants, maintaining a safe and healthy environment, conducting parent conferences, and performing required home visits.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or ged, along with an associate’s degree in child development/Early childhood education including 24 cd/Ece units, and must complete two adult supervision units within the first year. A minimum of twelve working months of pre-School teaching experience is required, along with various certifications and clearances, including a valid california driver's license.
