KEYS Special Education Teacher

The teacher will lead a structured, trauma-Informed classroom, delivering individualized instruction aligned with virginia standards of learning and each student’s iep goals while integrating specific school curricula. Responsibilities include designing lessons, implementing evidence-Based strategies, managing classroom behavior, and collecting data to measure academic and social-Emotional progress.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and an active virginia teaching license in special education, preferably with an endorsement in emotional disabilities or general curriculum k-12. Required skills include strong knowledge of special education law, data analysis, effective classroom management, and proficiency with educational technology.
