The teacher is responsible for providing a positive educational atmosphere that encourages student learning and participating with staff in developing and implementing school programs and goals. Duties include planning instruction, setting goals, implementing the specified curriculum, and assisting all students in achieving academic standards.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and hold a cleared or preliminary california teaching credential, including clad or bclad certification. Successful completion of the cbest is also required.
