CDA Apprenticeship

Apprentices will attend an 8-Hour cda training class one day per week and work 8 hours per day in the classroom for four days a week, earning the cda credential while being paid for training and classroom hours. The role involves working with children aged 6 weeks to 14 years in early childhood education and youth development programs.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or ged, committing to completing the cda professional portfolio, weekly training classes, and specified paid training and classroom hours. This is an apprenticeship model designed to help participants earn their child development associate credential.
