Adaptive Summer Camp Assistant Counselor

This role involves providing direct supervision to youth, teens, and adults with developmental delays and disabilities in a camp setting, ensuring their safety and facilitating their full participation in activities. The assistant counselor must also assist with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities consistent with program goals and values.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, and must be available to work specific dates between june 8 and july 31, monday through friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Required qualifications include current first aid/Cpr/Aed, child abuse prevention, and bloodborne pathogen certifications by the first day of camp.
