Core responsibilities
The assistant teacher supports the lead teacher in implementing play-Based, age-Appropriate lesson plans to foster children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development within a positive classroom culture. Responsibilities also include supervising and engaging with children, maintaining a safe classroom, and communicating professionally with families.
Requirements summary
Candidates should preferably have previous experience working with young children and possess knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices. The role requires strong communication and teamwork abilities, and the capacity to meet physical demands such as lifting up to 65lbs and kneeling, along with obtaining cpr/First aid certification.
