Child Care Assistant

Child care assistants attend to the emotional and physical needs of children while implementing developmentally appropriate activities. They also assist in planning and evaluating the child care curriculum and maintain records regarding children's attendance and behavior.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and successful experience caring for children in a group setting. They must also demonstrate communication skills and the ability to lift and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old.
