Youth Day Treatment Specialist

The specialist provides interventions to children in the day treatment program, focusing on teaching essential skills like communication, de-Escalation, and coping techniques to help them remain in school, community, and home settings. Responsibilities also include attending to client needs during activities, providing feedback in team meetings, modeling appropriate interactions, and completing timely documentation.

Minimum qualifications require either two years of college plus two years of relevant experience, an associate's degree plus two years of experience, or a bachelor's degree in any field. Candidates must possess or obtain a missouri class e driver's license (Class d for illinois residents), maintain continuous auto insurance, and meet motor vehicle record standards.
