Market context

Political science adjunct roles remain selective

In Kentucky, part-time political science lecturer openings are often filled from applicant pools, so demand can be steady but hiring is usually selective. These roles are competitive because a master’s degree is required, while a Ph.D. and prior teaching experience are preferred; strong candidates also show clear teaching references. The job requirements and benefits on this platform are AI-summarized from the original job description, helping you review the key details faster. Before applying, prepare an updated vita, transcripts, and three references who can speak to your teaching.
