Evening School (YouthBuild Philly Flex) - Language Arts Teacher

The teacher will design and deliver an engaging literacy program for the evening school, focusing on student-Centered units culminating in demonstrations, while also serving as a mentor to a small cohort of students to support their academic progress and graduation goals. Responsibilities also include collaborating with specialized services, tracking student progress via powerschool, and facilitating an independent study hall section daily.

Candidates must possess a current pennsylvania teaching certification in english 7-12 and be deeply aligned with the youthbuild mission, thriving in fast-Paced, evolving environments. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree and three to five years of teaching experience.
