Core responsibilities

The intern will participate in daily shadowing of culturally competent functional family therapy (Fft) therapists providing in-Home sessions to youth and their families, assisting in ongoing assessment of problems and strengths. They will also attend weekly clinical consultation groups, seek supervision, and adhere to the fft model while addressing safety concerns.

Requirements summary

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program at a new jersey institute of higher learning and must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Candidates need the ability to exercise independent thinking, good judgment, analyze work, set goals, and utilize time effectively.
