Teacher

The teacher is responsible for providing a safe and stimulating classroom environment that meets head start standards and for creating and implementing lesson plans designed to prepare children for kindergarten readiness. Key duties include developing written weekly lesson plans, assessing children's development using the work sampling system, and encouraging active parent involvement.

Candidates must possess an associate’s degree in education, with early childhood education being preferred, and ideally have one year of classroom experience. Strong skills in problem-Solving, independent work, teamwork, and effective oral/Written communication are required, along with the ability to interact positively with diverse populations.
